Young Gun debut

Last weekend at Qld Raceway we had Tom Hayman in the Trans Am for his first ever Trans Am race.  Tom had only previously sat in the car for 40 laps in testing, so it was fantastic to see his lap times were not far off the front runners.  Whilst he had some great learning experiences in race 1 and race 2, he was also turned around with the help of some fellow competitors but came back to show them he is one to watch coming an impressive 13^th after starting 24^th.  Well done Tom and the team.
